- From San José: The trip takes between 6 and 8 hours (approximately 370 km).
- Recommended route: Take the Inter-American Highway to Chacarita, then head toward Rincón de Osa and finally to Drake Bay.
- Tip: Some sections of the road may be gravel and include river crossings. A 4×4 is recommended during the rainy season.
